1 Replacement/Maintenance Frequency: how often should the coolant be changed or filled in under normal usage? Are there signs we should watch for to know when it needs replacing?

The coolant (i.e., liquid) needs to be regularly tested and replaced. The testing cycle and indicators are as follows. For more detailed information, please refer to hydro-cooling miner operation guide on our official website.

2 Do you have recommended or certified suppliers?

Sure. For hydro-cooling suppliers, we recommend our partners HeatCore, Hash House, and Giga Energy. We have tested and certified some of their products. Their systems are very compatible with our miner, and you can further communicate with them according to your own needs to find the one that suits you.

For details, you can get some information on our official website. I will give you some contact information below.

3 Do you deliver the coolant together with the miners?

Our miners cannot have the coolainside when they are delivered and shipped to you.

4 Is the coolant safe for all miner components? Does it require specific container materials?

The coolant cannot flow into the hashboard and power supply, otherwise it will cause damage. In addition, it is recommended to purchase the coolant from WhatsMiner or purchase the model specified by WhatsMiner. We are not responsible for any damage to the miner caused by the use of coolant or corrosion inhibitors that have not been tested by WhatsMiner.

However, for the cycle system, there are something worth noting. For example, the cycle system must consider rust and corrosion prevention. It is recommended to use stainless steel pipes, and copper is prohibited from appearing in the cycle system. Cooling plates are made of aluminum. If the cycle system contains copper, there will be electrochemical corrosion. Carbon steel pipe welds have a lot of welding slag, which is difficult to clean and prone to rusting and corrosion. The cooling plates or connectors have a risk of corrosion and blockage, which may cause damage to the hydro-cooling miner. Regarding to the second question, there are no specific container materials.

5 What is the current price per liter?

The coolant is usually recommended to be purchased locally and configured by oneself. As you know, the coolant generally consists of pure water (or distilled water), specialized corrosion inhibitors, and antifreeze. You can purchase corrosion inhibitors locally, usually recommended by suppliers. Or we can also help with procurement. In addition, you can purchase ethylene glycol (as antifreeze) with a concentration that meets the freezing point requirements locally or configure it yourself according to your needs, and the price is subject to local purchase. The following table introduces freezing points of ethylene glycol at different concentrations.

6 Does it have any specific handling or storage requirements?

It should be stored at room temperature and away from light.
